It’s Jo Card is a fun side gig I started during quarantine at the start of shelter-in-place for people to connect with their loved ones.
At the start of Shelter-in-Place, my partner and his roommate at the time had to quarantine, so I decided to create a care package of them. I wanted to create a note for them, so was inspired by the last adventure we had, which was climbing in Bishop.
In the next week, I figured out some initial designs, as well as how to package these cards to send to my customers. It was exciting to find the perfect texture card and right shade of Kraft brown envelope.
In just one week, I also created a website to sell my cards.
In just one week, I created 7 unique Quarantine Card designs, ordered shipping materials, and got my online storefront up and running.
I made $400 in profit in the first month.
